Guest Lecture on Research Paper Writing

 

A research outcome does not hold any significance if it is not shared at global level as a part of knowledge dissemination. Writing an effective research paper is the prerequisite for communication of knowledge. For an educational Institute where research is an integral part, it is very necessary to inculcate the skills of effective research paper writing amongst students.  Keeping in view this fact, The Centre For Research, Innovation And Training (CRIT) organized a guest lecture on Research paper writing By Mr. Aninda Bose, Senior Editor, Springer, New Delhi on 16 January 2020

The major objective of the lecture was to make students learn the skills of writing an effective research paper. Mr. Aninda Bose, in his lecture, discussed about the selection of an appropriate Journal for submission of the manuscript. He explained the techniques of writing the different sections of a research papers and emphasized on writing the paper with the originals results obtained by the researcher. He also discussed the types of plagiarism and its repercussions. Mr. Bose discussed every minute detail to be considered while preparing the manuscript. To understand the level of knowledge amongst the participants he also conducted a small quiz session during the lecture. Students could get answers to all their queries regarding manuscript preparation and submission during the lecture

The lecture proved to be very enriching for all the participants.
